  • How do I keep my Jewellery clean?
To protect it and contribute to its longevity, we suggest that you store your jewellery separately and in its original packaging as metals and stones can scratch when they come into contact with each other. Silver jewellery does tarnish but can be easily cleaned with 'silver dip' which removes any tarnish instantly. After using silver dip, it is important that you thoroughly rinse your jewellery with hot water and a mild detergent, followed by a further rinse in hot water. Gold, palladium and platinum jewellery can be cleaned with hot water, a mild detergent and a soft bristled toothbrush to help clean around stones. It is important that you thoroughly rinse your jewellery after cleaning with hot water. For a thorough clean, we offer a cleaning service for you to use as regularly as you wish. Contact us for more information about this.
  • Can I wear silver next to a gold ring?
Neighbouring pieces of jewellery of differing metal, eg. Silver ring next to gold ring, will wear at different rates, so it is advised to keep pieces of the same metal together to avoid excessive wear on the softer items.
  • If I buy a present for someone and it doesn’t fit, can I return it?"
Items may be returned for a full refund within 7 working days of purchase, unworn and as new. A suitable alternative will be offer at this time but if this cannot be found, a refund will be given. By far the most accurate way would be to visit us in store to have your measurement taken. The most common ring sizes are L - N, (L is the smallest).

A high carat like 18ct would be our recommendation, as it will last the longest and wear the best. The lower carats will still last a long time but are likely to show wear a bit faster. Platinum is also a great option as is it a strong long-lasting metals, whereas silver is not recommended for wedding jewellery.
  • Is a diamond a good investment?
The answer depends on whether you are investing in the diamond itself, or in what a diamond represents. Diamond prices have been steadily increasing for the past 20 years, and diamonds tend to hold their value. Given this, it is extremely unlikely that diamonds will ever entirely lose their value.
